My First Blog Candy

What is blog candy you ask? It's a freebie. Up for grabs is an opened, but unused jar of Really Red Stampin' Emboss Powder. All you have to do is leave a comment telling me: if you are making your Christmas cards this year, and if so, what stamp set you are using and how many you are going to make.

I will pick a winner on Sunday, September 23rd using random.

That's all for now, as much as I'd love to stay and post some more (while my puppy is snuggling at my feet) I must continue to get ready for work. Have a good day everyone!

Oh, I could really use some red embossing powder!! I am going to make about 20 Christmas cards this year. More if I have time. I haven't decided on a stamp set yet...I don't have any Christmas sets, so I need to decide on one and get it ordered. Thanks!

Oh, red embossing powder sounds like fun! Thanks for this chance to win! I wish I knew what I was doing for this year's Christmas cards! Last year I made about 80 cards using SU Solemn Stillness. Guess I should get right on that!

Just what I need! I'm planning on making all my Christmas cards, not that I have like tons to send, but I hope to make some to sell. Haven't decided what stamp set to use yet, hopefully that will be decided soon.

Red embossing powder is great blog candy! I think I'll be using The Snowflake Spot for my cards. I've never stamped all my own cards before, so it is hard to know how many I will make. I don't like making duplicate cards and keep switching it up a bit, so it takes me a little longer. My goal is about 30 cards. Thanks for the chance to win.

Thanks for the Blog Candy! Never really tried red embossing powder...

I send out 180+ cards, but not all of them will get handmade cards. I'm a beginner, so hope to send handmade ones to the 20 or so friends who willappreciate the effort. I hope to use the Loads of Love stamp set by SU!. Thanks for the introduction to your blog and for letting me play along.

Yes I am making my Christmas cards this year. I have 20-25 to do. Which stamps set will I use you ask? I haven't decided yet. I am still trying to decide....but red embossing powder sure would go along with the theme of things wouldn't it? And the leftovers could give me a jump start on Valentine's Day.

Congrats on the first blog candy...and the opportunity to win.

I will be making several sets of cards this year. My grandmother, and 2 aunts plus my own. I am leaning towards Season of Joy, Big On Christmas, The Snowflake Spot, Festive Favorites and possibly City of David. Whew! I better get started!!! I usually make 30 - 40 cards each for my family and then another 30-40 for my husband to send to business associates and then 50-60 for our personal family use. Yikes!
Have a great day!

I am making my own and I am using the snowflake spot. I have about 40-50 cards to make and I usually make a few extras for my neighbors so I will probably end up making about 60-70 total.

I make cards for all occassions except Christmas. That is because I need too many & don't have the time to make them. Also, I enjoy my annual Christmas photo card I send each year of my daughter so all of our out-of-town friends & family can see how much she has changed year to year.
